Dan Formless is a DJ, producer, curator, presenter, documentary film maker, broadcaster and social entrepreneur who has built a huge media network over the past 20 years.
In 2011 Dan founded Hoxton FM, building it into an independent platform showcasing DJs and artists to an audience of over half a million unique monthly viewers. He has become instrumental in contributions not only to the London scene, but a worldwide forward movement sharing inspiration.
Playing legendary clubs Ministry of Sound, Fabric and Heaven with long standing residencies at The Cross and Turnmills has further reinforced his status on the house and techno scene in London. 2018 has seen him further enhance his global network, DJing and live-streaming shows all over the world from Manila, Tokyo, Berlin, Amsterdam, Barcelona and New York. He has also takes every opportunity to interview interesting people for future documentary and podcast projects.
Dan recently released music on numerous underground labels including Subtatic, Reduced and Tagged music. He has a variety of other collaborations with Dokta and Tilef coming out on more labels in 2019. His sets move effortlessly between dub techno and deep house with influences ranging from Detroit to Berlin. Renowned for his impeccable taste, groovy rhythms and tight mixing, it’s clear to hear that Dan Formless is a deep thinker, a real selector.
Previously Dan was highly regarded in the business support and start-ups arena as the youngest ever CEO of a British chamber of commerce. Specialising in delivering innovative solutions to facilitate the growth of member companies in Richmond upon Thames, he introduced many ground breaking initiatives across London before pursuing his passions in music and broadcasting.
